What a TAR is — and what it is not
A TAR is a trigger assisted reset system: it resets the trigger for you so follow-up shots come faster. One trigger pull still fires one round, every time. It is not a forced reset trigger, it does not fire bursts, and it does not convert anything to automatic fire.

Glock Gen 5–6 questions
Why can't I use the cheaper Gen 1–4 part?
Different trigger bar. The Gen 1–4 part will not index correctly in a Gen 5 or Gen 6 pistol. Buy to your generation.
How do I tell which generation I have?
Gen 5 Glocks have no finger grooves and an ambidextrous slide stop. If you are unsure, the serial can be checked with Glock — get it right before ordering.
Is a Glock TAR legal?
Yes. A TAR assists trigger reset. One pull still fires one round. It is not an FRT, it does not fire bursts, and it does not make a pistol automatic.
