What a TAR is — and what it is not
A TAR is a trigger assisted reset system: it resets the trigger for you so follow-up shots come faster. One trigger pull still fires one round, every time. It is not a forced reset trigger, it does not fire bursts, and it does not convert anything to automatic fire.

Glock Gen 1–4 questions
Will a Gen 1–4 TAR fit my Gen 5 Glock?
No. The Gen 5 trigger bar geometry changed. Fitting a Gen 1–4 part to a Gen 5 is not a matter of force — it is the wrong part. Use the Gen 5–6 TAR.
Does this work on a Glock 19 and a Glock 17?
Yes — fitment follows the generation, not the frame size. Any Gen 1–4 Glock in that family shares the trigger geometry these parts are cut for.
Is a Glock TAR legal?
Yes. A TAR assists trigger reset. One pull still fires one round. It is not an FRT, it does not fire bursts, and it does not make a pistol automatic.
