What a TAR is — and what it is not
A TAR is a trigger assisted reset system: it resets the trigger for you so follow-up shots come faster. One trigger pull still fires one round, every time. It is not a forced reset trigger, it does not fire bursts, and it does not convert anything to automatic fire.

AR-15 questions
Do I need a gunsmith?
No. The Kabuto is a drop-in: it goes in where your fire control group lives, with standard pins. Follow the install guide and function-check before live fire.
Steel or carbon fiber nylon?
Steel lasts longer under volume and is what most buyers should pick for a rifle they shoot hard. Carbon fiber nylon costs less and runs the same mechanism — a good way to try a TAR.
Does a TAR make my AR automatic?
No. It assists trigger reset. One trigger pull fires one round. It does not fire bursts and it is not an FRT.
