TX22 Striker Housing

Comes with the TX22 Trip and the D2 Striker Housing. The factory TX22 striker housing is polymer, which can experience wear over time when used with a forced-reset system. To eliminate this failure point, we offer a precision-machined D2 steel striker housing kit designed for long-term reliability and consistent performance.

CNC-machined from D2 tool steel and heat-treated for durability, this housing maintains precise geometry under heavy use and prevents the deformation commonly seen in plastic housings. During testing, the D2 housing provided smoother engagement and more consistent cycling, which resulted in a noticeable improvement in overall trigger performance and effective rate of fire.

Installation is simple and requires no permanent modifications. Install the FRT, install the D2 striker housing, hold the trigger to the rear, and rack the slide several times to properly mate the components. Once seated, the system is ready for use.

The kit includes a TX22 trip and is built to withstand extended use while maintaining reliable engagement and long service life.

TROUBLE SHOOTING 

Symptoms:

Fixes:

• Ensure D2 striker housing is fully seated
• Cycle the slide 10–20 times to mate engagement surfaces
• Lubricate contact points and slide rails
• Inspect for debris or obstruction
